After yesterdays abirted windsurfing trip when I took my gear to The Dip/Felixstowe but with an approaching high tide and a lumpy sea I decided against a cold dip in the North Sea, so with less wind today and windsurfing not an option we decided to take a trip to Levington Marina for breakfast in the van :) It was such a nice day Mag and I headed off on a walk to Trimley Marshes. With all the rain of late it was very muddy underfoot but a glorious day and we continued all the way round the the winter flood bird hide. The highlight of the two hour walk was 3 fine male deer with full antlers feeding in the reserve and an old fishing boat washed on the rocks in the River Orwell and I managed to get some nice pics :) It was then home for home made soup before sawing wood for our open fire - nice weekend :)
